重新學走路

內子今早終把敷在腿上個多月的石膏拆了,接著下來,有一段長日子要重新鍛鍊腿部的肌肉和把梗直得久了的膝關節活動過來。頭一天的感覺是「腳軟軟」和膝部附近組織有些微腫,屈膝時感到痛楚也是不能免了,但第一次的物理治療要待下週二才開始……

  1. before next wk appointment with the physio, something you can start:
    1. ice the knee (ice pad/ ice cube) x 15 mins 1-2 time a day to reduce the swelling
    2. gentle knee bending exercise on bed/ or use a football underneath the foot to roll
    3. keep knee straight and lift the whole leg up, hold for 5 seconds for muscle training
    These are safe exs to begin with, all movement guided by pain will be safe!
