But, back to your first question, how many years between 2 leap years, the answer should be 4. For example, 2006 is a leap year, the next one should be 2010, and in between you have 4 years:
2006 to 2007
2007 to 2008
2008 to 2009 and
2009 to 2010.
BTW, never realise homework for primary school students couold be this complicated!!!

閏年 is leap year, isn’t it? If yes, it should happen every 4 year. That’s why people born on 29 Feb only celebrate their birthdays once every 4 year.
In most cases, it would be 4 years. But it could be 8 years from 2096 to 2014 because 2100 is not a leap year. Right??

簡單複雜化，條問題涉及問問題時候的處境：究竟佢想問相隔在數字間的整數數目，定係以365日為1年的概念？？？

來個總結的回應：
曉祈給第一格的答案是3年，我不能說她錯，因為你若問我2004和2008年之間「相隔」了多少年，我會毫不猶豫地答3年。正如五個人排排坐，若問頭尾兩人之間相隔了多少個人，我想沒有人會答4個吧。因為閏年非指2月29日那天，而是366日的一整年，所以從一個閏年的最後一日到下一個閏年的第一天，只「相隔」了3個平年。但若那條問題的用字由「相隔」改為「每隔」，答案卻只能是4年。我很想知道書商給的標準答案是什麼；因為那如是4年，我會認為編者在問題的用字上含糊不清，誤導學生，尤其那標題標明著「腦袋急轉彎」，易令人有其他的聯想；但如是3年，我又會問，對於一個小二升小三的學生來說，究竟這題目想學生從中記著3還是4這個數字呢？我想任誰也認同在閏年的課題上，要記的數字一定是4而非3吧！
